A conversation about improving power, and consistency in rotational athletes. An evening with David Ostrow, PT, CGFI-MP3.
In this seminar David will spend time looking at the physical attributes that lead to success in rotational athletes. Rotational athletes are athletes that hit, throw or kick an object. Over the last 29 years David has worked with Athletes who participate in Golf, Baseball, Tennis, Squash, Equestrian, Crickett and Lacrosse. In that time it has become clear that there are commonalities in the physical demands of power generation, and consistency in rotational athletes. While the end result of the activity may be different, hitting a ball, throwing a ball, the basic functional demands are extremely similar and the cycles of power and speed development are strikingly similar. There appears to be five basic movements that, when one is able to do well, creates improved performance and lower risk for injury.
In this seminar David will spend time dissecting the needs of rotational athletes, do group screenings and offer potential solutions to improving your physical ability to hit, strike and throw in Squash and other sports. You will learn what is needed to hit the ball with improved accuracy , control and speed. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers to get your individual questions answered.
