Farm to Table Dining at The Racquet Club
Much like “foodie” and “artisanal”, “Farm-to-Table” has become a staple buzz-word in the culinary world. While it might be cliché, we stand by the movement that sources locally grown food delivered right to your plate, which has truly created the fresh and unique dining experience here at The Racquet Club.
When we say “Farm-to-Table,” we mean it in every sense of the phrase. Everything from the wheat used in our fresh breads to the ramps in your pasta and the berries in your dessert are grown/harvested/milled/picked by our partners in either Green Meadow or Erdenheim Farms. The products that we get in are free from chemicals and grown naturally. Not only does the additional care and preparation go into creating something healthy, the extra effort makes it even more delicious. The food we bring in is someone’s life passion, and the love and care that the farmers put into that passion is reflected in the flavor of the products. It makes what you’re eating just a little more special.
The staff here at the RCOP has had the privilege of visiting both farms, touring, tasting, and familiarizing ourselves with the products and the people who make them available to us here at the Club. The staff at the RCOP is passionate about the food we serve and the people growing the food share that same passion. It is exciting on both a personal and professional level when you can pair those two things together.
